This Mediterranean-style hacienda enjoys a spot in one of LA’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. Up in Beverly Hills, Franklin Canyon Park is on your doorstep and the views of Mulholland Drive are just a short drive away. The home is set around a resort-style pool, where a veranda shades loungers from the midday heat. A stone Jacuzzi tub is sunken in the terracotta patio. Pots filled with cacti and ferns give a Mediterranean feel, complimenting the white-washed walls and orange roof of the home itself. Inside, you’ll find a chef’s kitchen in chrome and slate-grey – just like the kitchens of fine dining restaurants. Put the appliances through their paces with a private chef (your host can provide a recommendation) or enjoy a casual meal outdoors, courtesy of the gas barbecue. Several seating areas a spread across an open lounge – grand white sofas around a working fireplace, a reading nook by floor-to-ceiling glass, a dining table illuminated by a circular skylight, and a casual cluster of settees around a big TV. Come bedtime, each room is spacious with big beds, and the master has its own living area and glass sliding doors leading straight to the pool.
