We were immediately charmed by this 1920s Californian home. It has a country cottage feel, yet is nestled just blocks from Larchmont Boulevard and a stone’s throw from Paramount Studios. Inside, we love the eclectic wallpapers and cosy furnishings. There’s only one full bathroom, so you may need to coordinate your morning routine, but the stylish living areas, including a sunroom, make it easy to wait. The lush backyard and outdoor dining area make for the perfect spot for sun-drenched days, while the private home cinema means you’ll never get bored. And with LA on your doorstep, we think it’s a great base.
